Established in 1972, the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board (NPAIHB or the Board) is a non-profit tribal advisory organization serving the forty-three federally recognized tribes of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Our mission is to eliminate health disparities and improve the quality of life of American Indians and Alaska Natives by supporting Northwest Tribes in their delivery of culturally appropriate, high quality healthcare.

STIs (sexually transmitted infections) are on the rise nationwide, and Indian Country is deeply impacted. DoxyPEP (Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a medication that can prevent STIs.

The Paths (Re)Membered Project created a national campaign to raise awareness and encourage community members to ask their providers about DoxyPEP.

This campaign includes the following materials:
- Educational pocketbook
- Stickers
- Business card
- Educational article
- Social media toolkit

The TCHP Program Manager is responsible for providing oversight to monitor, track, and report progress on the program’s tasks and objectives, and coordinating administrative support functions for all TCHP Program Directors, as well as the Portland Area CHAP Certification Board (PACCB). The TCHP Program Manager collaborates with states, Tribes, and other organizations on project related activities, provides specialized support and logistics to the overall goals and objectives of advisory committees’, boards, and workgroup members, and project Tribal sites.
