Assisting Tribes in tackling the opioid epidemic.
NPAIHB’s Tribal Opioid Response (TOR) program helps Northwest Tribes in tackling the opioid epidemic by strengthening capacity to prevent, treat, and recover from opioid use disorder.
TOR combines cultural and traditional approaches with evidence-based practices, supporting community education, expanding access to treatment (including Medication for Opioid Use Disorder, or MOUD), and using data to strengthen Tribal responses. The program also invests in leadership development and state and national partnerships to build stronger, more resilient communities.
