The Tribal Community Health Provider Program (TCHPP), a program of the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board (NPAIHB), supports tribal innovation and leadership by facilitating health programs that allow our communities to thrive in the way our ancestors intended.

The TCHPP oversees the Dental Health Aide Program (DHAP), the Behavioral Health Aide Program (BHAP) and the Community Health Aide Program (CHAP) Program. Our program partners with Portland Area Tribes and invests in the future of our tribal nations by working to increase access to high quality, culturally appropriate primary healthcare, behavioral healthcare, and oral health care through training and employment of Community Health Aides (CHA/P), Behavioral Health Aides (BHA/P), and Dental Health Aide (DHA/Ts) and Dental Therapists(DTs). www.tchpp.org
