May 11, 2017 N/A
On May 11, 2017, Lieutenant Governor Brad Little will present the 2017 Mental Health Awareness Month proclamation.
At the event there will be several inspiring speakers talking about how mental health challenges have affected their lives and Division of Behavioral Health Administrator Ross Edmunds will be presenting the first ever Voice of Idaho Award. Join us in person if you can from 1:30 to 3 in the Lincoln Auditorium at the Idaho State Capitol or you will be able to watch online HERE. Click HERE to view a printable invitation.
Also, there will be an artwork display in the 1st floor rotunda of the Capitol all day on May 11, 2017. The display will then move to the lobby of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare Central Office building for the duration of May. The works of art will also be posted to the Behavioral Health Events website. If you or anyone you know would like to have your artwork displayed, please submit an electronic copy by April 30, 2017.
Finally, if you know of behavioral health events that are happening at any time throughout the year, please let me know so I can add them to the calendar on the Behavioral Health Events website. Please forward this to anyone you think may be interested.
Thanks,
