We are currently seeking a Native American Student Success Coordinator (Operations & Policy Analyst 4) at the Oregon Department of Education. This is a permanent, full-time position in management service.

The position is located within the Office of Indian Education which is devoted to Native American Education efforts. The office works collaboratively with the federally recognized Tribes in Oregon and through the government-to-government process and the Oregon Department of Education American Indian / Alaska Native Advisory Committee to develop the American Indian / Alaska Native Student Success Education Plan which supports and fosters pre-K to post-secondary initiatives which will improve outcomes for our American Indian students and youth.

What you will do!

As our Native American Student Success Coordinator, you develop and implement executive, legislative, American Indian / Alaska Native, and Education Cluster (Government to Government) mandated policies and initiatives that identify and provide support to American Indian students and youth. You also support the implementation of the American Indian / Alaska Native Student Success Education Plan (AIANSSEP).
