KBOI/KYUU has an exciting opportunity for a Multimedia Journalist/Digital Content Producer!
KBOI/KYUU is looking for a Multi-Media Journalist (MMJ) (3 weekdays)/Digital Content Producer (weekends) . Your responsibilities as an MMJ will include reporting, shooting and editing news stories, enterprising story ideas, developing contacts, as well as other responsibilities as assigned. You will be expected to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including the internet, social networking sites and mobile phones, in addition to television.
Skills and Experience:
• Writing stories, creating social media posts, and calling/emailing about breaking news on the weekends
• Pitch story ideas
• Develop contacts
• Report 3 days a week for TV, digital, and social media
• Take pictures and video of news and community events
Requirements and Qualifications:
• College degree preferred
