SUPERVISOR: CLINIC HEALTH DIRECTOR OPEN: OPEN UNTIL FILLED SALARY: $30.00-$35.00 HOURLY DOQ/DOE 1 FTE REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES INCLUDE: This is an ambulatory medical clinic that primarily serves the Native American Indian population. The Clinic Registered Nurse is an integral leader of the healthcare team, overseeing and participating in patient assessment and the formulation and implementation of patient care plans. The RN will provide direct nursing care to patients with chronic and acute care needs. The RN will work to promote and restore patients’ health by working collaboratively with medical providers and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients and families. The RN will supervise assigned team members such as LPN, MA, and Front Office Assistants. Triage patient phone calls and urgent/emergent/same day/walk-ins for team. Conduct independent nursing visits for designated health problems and concerns, patient education and nursing intervention as directed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program 2. Current licensure as an RN by the Washington State Board of Nursing 3. Approved results of a pre-employment drug screen and finger print background check 4. Current AHA accredited Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification 5. 1 year prior nursing experience 6. Demonstrates competence in lab draws and administration of immunizations. 7. Consistent demonstration of a team approach to care. 8. Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and orally. 9. Valid Washington State driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance Behavioral Standards: Respectful, courteous, and friendly to customers, other tribal employees, and tribal leaders.
