managers and homeland security personnel in the Country! This year we celebrate the 3rd Annual National
Tribal Emergency Management Conference. In addition, we are partnering with many new Tribal agencies
and organizations to raise greater awareness about our Tribal Emergency Preparedness programs across the
country and to increase even more information sharing across the Nation. Highlights for this year’s event
One of the largest gatherings of Tribal Emergency Managers, Tribal Public Health Personnel, Recovery,
Hazard Mitigation, and Homeland Security Professionals in the nation.
Come visit with many of the nation’s 567 Federally Recognized American Indian Tribes and Alaska
Native Villages. Holding the Conference in the Central Valley of California will better facilitate the level
of participation from our Tribes.
Tribal, Federal, State, Local and Regional partners are well represented.
Participants and presenters include tribal leadership and decision-makers from across the country.
Tribes that currently provide protection to some of our Nation’s most critical infrastructure, to include
the International Border, the Grand Coulee Dam, US Naval Bases, Major Oil Refineries and
International Shipping Lanes will also be in attendance.

NTEMC will be providing additional training opportunities for attendees on the dates of September 19th and September 20th, 2016. The discount rate is good for the nights of September 18th – September 23rd, 2016. The above rates will also be extended 3 days before and 3 days after the event.
