12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. PTAlthough gun violence is often in the news, some aspects of firearm safety get less attention. For this reason, the October session of Hot Topics in Practice will focus specifically on older adults with cognitive impairments and their risk for injury.

The presentation will explore federal and state policies for addressing firearm safety among our aging population with cognitive issues. Participants will also learn about a new intervention toolkit with strategies that promote collaboration and health around this issue.
Register today to learn about policies and practical solutions to prevent firearm injury and deaths among older adults.
This webinar is supported by the Harborview Injury Prevention & Research Center.
