SPONSORSHIP LEVELS AND BENEFITS
The value of a leader often lies in how well they know themselves and those that
they serve. Leadership is not linear but rather a collection of one’s beliefs, values
and how they handle interpersonal relationships. While American Indian Graduate
Center continues to lead the industry in financially supporting Native students in their
educational journey, we also understand the importance of fostering and developing our
students’ leadership skills as they become business, political and community leaders.
We invite you to partner with us as we host our 2022 Indigenous Leadership Summit.
This year’s summit will engage 75 Indigenous college students as they explore areas
of leadership and Indigenous leadership. Throughout the two-week virtual summit
students will be provided tools and lessons ranging from:
Identifying and examining leadership styles
Time Management and identifying priorities
Conflict/Resolution strategies
Comparing and balancing Western vs Indigenous leadership
Identifying community goals (values, challenges, mission)
Creating a service-learning project for their respective communities
Summit participants will complete the summit with the tools, strategies and knowledge
to return to their campuses and communities and implement what they learned to uplift
themselves and those around them. We look forward to partnering with you as we
continue our 50-year legacy of supporting and empowering Native students.
