This event is sponsored by HCA and DOH so all registrants will be attending for free! The focus is on learning and teaching those that work with youth to build resiliency through self care, healing, and wellness techniques. The amazing break out sessions we have for both youth, adult and some youth/adult combo sessions will lead to new opportunities to bring wellness to our youth and even ourselves! This event is for Tribal staff members that work with youth (2 adults per tribe) and we are inviting up to 5 youth per tribe that you are engaged with. We can not wait to share this amazing opportunity and hope to see you there! Please feel free to share with others but know that we have a limit on the number of participants. Attached is the event agenda, a link for registration, and a brief description of the breakout sessions. The registration was intended for 1 chaperone to register for up to 2 adults and up to 5 youth. This may take some time to complete so PLEASE DO NOT WAIT!! Dear Honorable Tribal & State Leaders, The Governor’s Tribal Leaders Social Services Council (GTLSSC) will be holding its biannual meeting on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm via webinar. Tribal Leaders (or designees), appropriate Tribal Staff, and tribal organizations/advisory bodies listed on the attached draft charter are invited and encouraged to attend. All State Leaders (agency heads) of the GTLSSC that should plan to attend include: Governor's Chief of Staff; Executive Director of Governor’s Office of Indian Affairs; Secretary of Department of Social & Health Services; Secretary of Department of Children, Youth and Families; Secretary of Department of Corrections; Director of Department of Commerce; Director of Veteran’s Affairs; and Director of Health Care Authority.
