The Many Colors of our Pride

Last week, for National Coming Out Day, we asked how you show pride for your Two Spirit and LGBTQ+ community. We received so many diverse responses. From rainbow-flag capes to advocacy for trans athletes to self-care, you are acting as voices for change in your communities.

It’s been a week of Two Spirit and LGBTQ+ news. The Supreme Court heard arguments about LGBTQ workers’ rights. NPR wrote about the changes happening in workplaces across the country to better accommodate nonbinary employees. The National Indian Education Association drafted an apology and resolution in support of Two Spirit and LGBTQ+ students, educators, and community members. This national visibility is all thanks to the on-the-ground community efforts and advocacy of people like you.

Read below for the many different ways we show our pride.

Yours in solidarity
